Migrant Education is a federally-mandated program also known as Title I-C. Conexíon Américas is the responsible agency for overseeing the Migrant Education program throughout the state. This program offers supplemental educational programs to help migrant students and their families. Staff members also work to find and recruit both eligible students and staff to provide tutoring and mentoring.

Each student enrolling in a Knox County School should receive a Migrant Education Occupational Survey in the enrollment packet. To maintain state and federal compliance, schools must forward a copy of each survey having a "yes" response to any of the questions to the KCS Migrant Liaison. The original survey should be placed in the student's CR.

Occupational Surveys: English, Spanish, Swahili
