Employees who are eligible for tenure pursuant to Knox County Board of Education Policy G-330 and Tennessee Code Annotated § 49-5-501 will be presented to the Board of Education for approval. 

The list of employees eligible for tenure will be posted as an attachment to the agenda of a Board of Education meeting.  If an employee believes they are eligible for tenure and their name has not been submitted to the Board of Education for approval, the employee must complete a Tenure Inquiry Form (Form HR-___) within thirty (30) days of publication to the Human Resources Department.  The Human Resources Department will review the Tenure Inquiry Form and provide a response to the employee within fifteen (15) business days.
