The Knox County Schools will implement the Tennessee State Standards in compliance with the State of
Tennessee.
The primary responsibility for the effective operation of the curriculum program and activities is
delegated to the Director of Schools and the Director’s designees.
School principals shall be responsible for administering the established instructional programs and for the development and supervision of a coordinated plan for the improvement of instruction in their schools.
