With the principal's permission, students may repeat courses on a space-available basis under provisions
set forth in this policy.

REPEATING FAILED COURSES

Courses previously failed may be repeated in summer school or during the regular school year.

REPEATING PASSED COURSES

Courses passed within a sequential subject may not be repeated after the student has received a passing
semester grade in the next course. (For example: the student may not repeat Spanish I after receiving a
passing grade in the first semester of Spanish II.)

Any teacher-led course may be repeated at the discretion of the school principal assuming there is room in the master schedule.

COMPUTATION OF CREDITS AND GRADE-POINTS

When a course is repeated, the higher of the two (2) grades shall be computed as part of the accumulated grade-point average.
