Public prayer shall not be allowed at any school-sponsored or school-directed activity, but a period of
silence may be observed as determined by the principal of each school.
The principal of each school shall be responsible for calling the students to order and announcing that a
moment of silence is to be observed. No other action shall be taken by a teacher other than to maintain
silence for the full time.
