Begin with the student's account:
knoxschools.instructure.com 

From a bookmark or www.knoxschools.org, navigate to Canvas.

1. Click on Account
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Pair with Observer
4. Copy the code provided to you. It will change each time you access this feature.

Now, you'll move to the parent account:
knoxschools.org

Go to Knox County Schools / Homepage

5. Click on I WANT TO...
6. Click on Log into Canvas
7. Click on Canvas Parents Link - Opens a new window
8. Click on Parent of a Canvas User?…
9. Enter the information on the signup window.
10. Type the code generated from you student's account.
11. Click on I'm not a robot
12. Click on Start Participating
13. You will be taken to your student's Dashboard where you will see the courses your student is enrolled in.
