Its all accessible in Canvas so you can easily transition between planning, grading, and communication without switching tabs. To get started, lets add the Khanmigo teaching tools to your canvas course, heres how. Go to the course that you would like to use this tool in. Click on “Settings” in the course navigation menu then select “Navigation.” Find “Khanmigo Teacher Tools” and select “Enable.” Don't forget to save, and you should now see Khanmigo Teacher Tools in your navigation menu to begin using.
Once you've added Khanmigo tools to your Canvas course its time to log in. You can click “Sign up for FREE” to log in with your KCS Google Account or if you've already created a Khanmigo account with your KCS Google Account click “Log in.” If you have any trouble accessing your account check to make sure your cookies are enabled and your cashe is cleared, or email edtechliaisons@knoxschools.org.
Here is an example of how you could use a Khanmigo tool to draft a letter of recommendation. Once your draft is created you can select the text then ask Khanmigo for changes. After your changes have been made you can now export the draft, print the draft, share the draft, or you'll always be able to find it under “My Documents.”
