When using Canvas and Mastery Connect together, the best practice is to create your tracker from inside your Canvas course. If a course is cross-listed, cross-listing must occur BEFORE linking a Mastery Tracker.
Log in to Canvas and navigate to your course.
Out of the Canvas Course Navigation, click “Mastery Tracker.”
When you see the blindfolded panda, click “Link Mastery Tracker.”
Select “Create a new Tracker from a standard set” and then “Link.”
Provide information for Title, Subject, Core, and Class. Once you have completed each section, select “Link.”
Title:LEAVE All of the information as listed and add teacher last name to the very end. **This is the only way to ensure you receive the correct benchmark.**
Subject: Choose the correct subject from the table below.
Core: Select the standards.
Class: Select the Class by grade level (K-8) or Class Title as listed in the table below.
