To enable the lockdown browser for a formative assessment go to the canvas course, locate the assessment under assignments, click on assess, scroll to the lockdown browser icon, and click. You'll notice a popup comes up that says students must have Respondus lockdown browser installed on their device. 

The lockdown browser was pushed to all students Knox County Schools Chrome accounts. The lockdown browser is now active for this assessment for students.
