Okay, in this quick video, we're going to go over a quick overview of how to utilize and navigate through OneDrive.

So the easiest way to access your OneDrive account is to go through your Outlook, your email. So if I'm in here in my web browser and I go to my email address and you got your normal files and folders over here, you get a list of running applications over here to the left and up at the top, you see  these little dots that have been put together here. You can click the app launcher and get access to all of these, but this logo here is the one. So we can very easily click on it, or if I go back, you can see that same logo is here.

So either way that I want to access it either through the dots appear to access all of my apps or one of the quick launchers over here to the left hand side. So I'm going to go ahead and click on it. And then a new tab that's going to open up my OneDrive. And this is kind of the home screen here. You can see it's already landed on the home screen. And what you get on the home screen is your recent documents that you've utilized within the OneDrive that have saved. Okay?

Now, you're going to see Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF. These are not going to launch those applications. This is kind of letting you search through your documents. So, So if I want to filter this to just the Word documents, I would click Word. And so now I have all my Word documents. I can click that X and make it go away. I can click Excel. I see I have no Excel documents saved in here currently. Same with PowerPoint. And then if I click PDF, I get to, I see all the PDF that I have saved within my OneDrive.

Over here on the left-hand side, I can change this to My Files. And these are all of my documents that I have saved within my OneDrive. And there are my folders that we'll talk about on our next video. And then if I go to Share this, These are all the documents that have been shared with me from other members of Knox County Schools. And then I can favorite different documents and put that in my own favor- my own favorite folder. And then a recycling bin. But down at the bottom is your kind of shared spaces, your shared libraries with other. Partners within Knox County Schools. You can see at tech connectors, one of our groups here in Knox County Schools. And this is our shared space that we utilize with different folders and different information that we want in there.

Okay, I'm going to go back up here to my files. And you can see up at the top, just some basic navigation. You've got new. We can start a new Word document, Excel, PowerPoint, one note, forms or a video drawing, even a survey monkey. You get a lot of different options that you want to launch or that you can launch here under new or you can start a new folder, which we're going to go over on the next video. You can. You can also upload files and folders, sync information from the cloud and then you can also sort your information over here to the right and you get a search bar up at the top. Okay.

So that's some basic navigation on the next video we're going to look at how to create again learning how to access and share files.
