10/29/2025 12:30PM Microsoft Azure outage impacting logins and external services. [RESOLVED]
We are currently aware of a widespread Microsoft Azure outage. This is affecting user ability to log in to services that use Microsoft authentication.
Users may be unable to sign in to the following services:
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook Email, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
 - Aspen
 - Other applications that utilize your KCS provided Microsoft login.
 
If you are already logged in, you may be able to continue working; however, you may experience intermittent errors or be logged out.
Microsoft is aware of and is working to resolve this issue.

The district is aware of an issue affecting phone auto-attendants at schools when calls are placed from outside lines. (Auto-Attendants are the service menus to navigate to the correct department or extension.) Direct calls to an individual's 10 digit number are working. Return to this page for updates.
- 8:15 AM Our vendor has acknowledged this issue impacting several of its customers and is working towards a resolution.
 - 9:40 AM Our vendor has identified the underlying issue and is working to resolve as quickly as possible.
 - 10:12 AM We are observing some Auto-Attendants have been restored. Monitoring is ongoing until our vendor verifies all sites have been restored.
 - 10:31 AM All Auto-Attendants have been restored.
