SDC LockDown Browser Setup - Student Action REQUIRED

Students who need the SDC (Statewide Dual Credit) LockDown Browser for EOC testing will need to self-install the extension for testing. This extension IS NOT automatically installed because it impacts a small group of students.

Once installed, students will also need to disable Pop Up Windows for a successful assessment.

Installation Instructions

NOTICE:

  • KCS only supports the SDC LockDown browser extension on student Chromebooks.
  • Teachers who use classroom management tools from Hapara must turn off all observation sessions during this assessment.
  • Instead of searching the store, following the direct link will ensure each student gets the correct extension.

To avoid typos, the instructor should share this page in a place students can access. (Canvas, Email, etc.)

From Chrome, use either of these addresses:  (They are the same. The 1st is just easier to type.)

https://www.tinyurl.com/sdc-lockdown-browser
