How to use the Dashboard in ActivInspire

The ActivInspire Dashboard appears upon opening the software, allowing you to quickly and easily create new resources, access existing resources, and more.

To access the Dashboard at any time click the House icon at the top of the window.

Select New Flipchart to create a new file.

Select Open Flipchart to locate and open previously saved or downloaded flipcharts.

Select Import to open the import menu. From this menu choose to import a PDF, SMART Notebook, or PowerPoint.

Select Activities to access 10 different activity types – truly something for every content area and grade level.

Select Annotate to initiate one of ActivInspire users’ favorite tools and begin annotating on the desktop.

Select the Timer to utilize a combination of timers, stopwatches, or clocks.

The Recently Viewed area within the Dashboard displays your recent Flipcharts and Activities.

The Learn Promethean area will display helpful video tutorials if new to ActivInspire.

The Resource Library area will connect you to one.prometheanworld.com where you can discover free ideas, activities, and resources.
